Apply for the Digital Public Infrastructure Journalism Fellowship: Deadline September 30, 2024

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) is excited to announce the opening of applications for its Digital Public Infrastructure Journalism Fellowship Programme. This prestigious fellowship is designed for experienced journalists from Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, and Togo.

A total of 60 journalists will be selected for this immersive three-month fellowship, running from November 2024 to January 2025. The program aims to enhance public awareness, stimulate debates, and promote inclusivity regarding Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and Digital Public Goods (DPG) across West Africa.

Selected fellows will gain valuable knowledge and skills to produce high-impact, quality reporting on DPI and DPG issues. Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of $250, and partner newsrooms will benefit from an additional $1,000 in support.
