The Google Africa Developer Scholarship

Google created the Google Africa Certification Program to provide  software development training to 100,000 individuals in Africa.

This program aims to help successful candidates obtain certification in Google’s Android, Web, and Cloud technologies.

Now in its fifth year, the program is offering an additional 30,000 opportunities for Android and Google Cloud training to aspiring and professional developers across Africa.

Participants in the program will access carefully curated training content and engage in hands-on learning experiences.

They will also join a pan-African network of peer learning groups and community mentors who will guide them throughout their learning journey.

Google’s partners, Pluralsight and Andela, will deliver the scholarship program through a comprehensive learning curriculum, aiming to equip motivated learners with the necessary skills for entry-level and intermediate positions in software development.
